Quesada Oktoberfest Munich – Canadian Exclusive Premium Cigar | CigarHaus

The Quesada Oktoberfest Munich is a limited-production premium cigar created specifically for the Canadian market as part of Quesada’s celebrated Oktoberfest collection. Measuring 5” × 50, the Munich offers the rich, malty and earthy character of the Oktoberfest blend in a classic Robusto-sized format.

Handcrafted at Quesada’s TABADEX factory in the Dominican Republic, it features a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper over Dominican binder and filler tobaccos. The Oktoberfest series was originally launched in 2011 with a specific purpose: to create cigars that pair exceptionally well with German beer.

Flavour Profile

Rich cocoa
Earth
Roasted nuts
Toasted malt
Dark spice
Cedar & oak
Subtle smoky sweetness
Warm, lingering finish

A Canadian retailer describes the Munich as showing earth, cocoa, roasted nuts and dark spice with smoky sweetness. An independent Canadian whisky and cigar reviewer found milk chocolate, earth, baking spice and cereal-grain characteristics from the Munich, reinforcing its malt-friendly profile.

Why It Stands Out

The biggest selling point for CigarHaus customers is that Munich is a Canadian-exclusive expression of Quesada Oktoberfest. While the regular 2025 Oktoberfest release includes Bavarian, Das Boot, Über, Kaiser Ludwig and Salomon Press, the Munich was produced separately for Canada.

The dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper also makes this particularly attractive to smokers who enjoy cocoa, earth, spice and natural sweetness without necessarily wanting an extremely powerful cigar.

Perfect For

Pairing Suggestions

This is one cigar where beer should absolutely be the featured pairing. Quesada has blended the Oktoberfest series specifically to complement German beer since its introduction in 2011.

Pair it with a German Märzen/Oktoberfest lager, dunkel or other malt-forward beer. For spirits, bourbon, aged rum or a wood-aged single malt should complement the cocoa, earth and spice nicely. A Canadian reviewer also found the Munich worked particularly well with aged Canadian whisky.
